Martin Lavallée
Martin Lavallée brings more than 20 years of Business Valuation, Corporate Financing & Investment Banking experience to Novacap. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A.), Finance and Economy from HEC Montréal and a Master of Science in Administration (M. Sc.) from the Université de Sherbrooke. Mr. Lavallée is a member of the ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA, CGA) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Mr. Lavallée was an Associate-Director at the head office of Bell Canada – BCE where he held different positions in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Risk Management. Prior to that, Martin worked in the Insurance Industry, for the Guarantee Insurance, a leader in specialty insurance and surety within the North American market, where he held a position in risk management in the bonding department. Mr. Lavallée joined Novacap in 2007.
Mr. Lavallée is a member of the Boards of Directors of Smyth, Pipp Mobile Storage Systems.
Mr. Lavallée was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the Laces Group, the Noble Foods, the Greenwood and Multy Home. He was also an observer on the Board of Directors of Multibar and Joseph Ribkoff.
